Playlist – December 16th, 2009 (Die Deutsche Spezialisierung)
This is the German special…quite unintentional initially, but once I realized what was going on, I tried to keep it in style. Almost every artist and/or label is from Germany. Some artists on German labels aren’t German, and some Germans aren’t on German labels, and a few are neither, but this is largely the Deutsche dance party. Definitely on the minimal/housey/techy tip.
Also, the fun thing about broadcasting from home is you get some odd interruptions. Sometimes a family member butts in with an important call, or you have some odd feedback issue with a cable, or you computer may just freak out. All of these happened today so a mix or two got fouled up, and that always bends my banana. I really hate it. But it happens and the show is live, so one must move on. I’m a nitpicky bastard when it comes to what I do. I think the show stayed lively though despite my annoyance with lack of perfection. I could just be terrible at what I do as well… <cue tears>
