Playlist – February 17th, 2010

Another show to bring some focus back on Ambient, one of my most cherished of musical genres.  Yes, sometimes you may have to be in the right mood for this type of music, but I find it hard not to get captivated by many of these tunes.  The second track on today’s show, Triola’s “Tropfstein”, is by far one of my most favorite.  Just listen to it and let it wash over you.  If it doesn’t affect you, hopefully something else from this selection will.  I enjoy the sparsity that some of these tracks enlist, while other times its the emotional weight behind softly constructed notes.  Please indulge…
