Playlist – June 30th, 2010

The tempo stayed up most of the time, resulting in a more dance-oriented show than I’ve done in a while.  Some old fave’s and new ones thrown in the mix, plus some interesting mellow pieces to break up the pace.

I’m getting the record shopping bug again, but I think I may do mostly online stuff this time.  Both Ghostly and Planet Mu have decent websites for buying online, so I’ve been waiting for a few things from both of them.  Halcyon in Brooklyn keeps having killer releases, but I know if I go there I’m likely to drop more cash than I should.  I just love that shop so much, and everyone there is so knowledgeable that they find some other stuff for you that you didn’t know about but are certainly glad they brought to your attention.

This Fourth is looking to be kinda boring, so I may just go off to the shops and listen to records for hours on end…

Here’s the playlist, by the way, for today’s show.  Peep it and listen again via my podcasts in the top right of the blog.
